'Enemies to regret attacking Iran'

Press TV
Friday December 21, 2007

Commander of Iran's Army Air Force Brig. Gen. Ahmad Miqani says Iran is completely prepared to repel any attack against the country.

"We believe that no attack would be launched against Iran, but if any country attacks Iran, we will respond," he said at an Army base in Hamadan on Thursday.

He warned that the enemies would regret if they committed a folly and attacked Iran.

The Air Force commander said that Iran is working on a new fighter jet whose production is in its final stages. He added that the details of the project would be made public in the near future.
