No doubt Calcutta News has it right. “U.S. senators to
arrive in Israel for indoctrination,” headlines the Indian
website. “We formed the committee four years ago, when I
was Chairman of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense
Committee. It is the only joint committee between the American
Congress and another country,” declared Yuval Steinitz,
a former “Peace Now” activist turned Jabotinsky fanatic.
“We think that it is important that the members of the delegation
feel the connection and understand Israel better. They are mostly
non-Jewish and we want them to feel some obligation to the country.”
Of course, these days, Congress critters are not obliged to the
American people, mind you, but multinational corporations and
Israel, so Mr. Steinitz was not harking out of the blue or off
the wall.
“The ability of the Senate and the Congress to promote
issues is just as important as that of the American administration.
They will be briefed by Mossad Officials about Iran, Hezbollah
and global Jihad,” in other words, they will be harangued
about the necessity for the United States to fight Israel’s
enemies, as Iran and Hezbollah present about as much of a threat
to the United States as the Basarwa of the Kalahari Desert. As
for the “global Jihad,” this is little more than a
modern version of the Blason populaire, that is to say stereotypical
folklore. It is appropriate senator Jon Kyl and crew will be “briefed
by Mossad Officials” on the ins-and-outs of “global
Jihad,” as Israeli intelligence is responsible in large
part for creating such, as in the case of nurturing Hamas and
the would-be shoemaker Abu Nidal. “Scratch around inside
Abu Nidal’s organization and you will find Mossad,”
a senior Jordanian intelligence officer once remarked.
As for Kyl’s indoctrination roster, it appears to be filled.
“The two-day visit includes meetings with Opposition Chairman
MK Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Chief
of the Mossad. Later on they will also meet Deputy President and
Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert….
The visit will end with dinner with Coalition Chairman MK Avigdor
Itzchaky, MK Tzachi Hangebi, Nobel Prize Laureate Prof. Robert
Auman and Nathan Sharansky.”
Dalia Itzik is a perfect example of the standard Israeli politician,
as she flitted between Labor and Kadima, the latter a creation
of the “centrist” war criminal Ariel Sharon. Tzipi
Livni, foreign affairs minister and vice prime minister, is the
daughter Eitan Livni, the former Irgun terrorist, Irgun being
the natural result of Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s Revisionist
Zionism. Tzahi Hanegbi comes from similar stock, as his mother,
Geula Cohen, was a radio announcer for Lehi, the terrorist organization
responsible for the Deir Yassin massacre, assassinating Count
Folke Bernadotte and Lord Moyne, and bombing the Cairo-Haifa train.
Lehi had a penchant for rubbing elbows with Nazi officials. Robert
Aumann is the Israeli mathematician and a member of the United
States National Academy of Sciences who postulated that “peacemaking
can cause war, while arms race, credible war threats and mutually
assured destruction can reliably prevent war.” Nathan Sharansky
is Bush’s favorite author. Netanyahu made the news recently
when Olmert accused him of not only “emboldening”
Hamas during his tenure as prime minister, but said Bibi “set
up Hamas and revived it by releasing Sheikh Yassin,” according
to a report published by Yedioth Internet.
Naturally, it makes sense for critter Kyl to lead this “delegation”
to Israel, as during his “election” he was “the
top Senate recipient of pro-Israel PAC funds,” according
to Janet McMahon. Of course, practically the entire House and
Senate are AIPAC occupied territory, with the likes of Nancy Pelosi,
Steny Hoyer, Jane Harman, Joseph Lieberman, Chuckie Schumer, and
many others on the AIPAC payroll.
