Rabbinical Council: Christian Morality Weakening Effort to Mass Murder Lebanese

According to David Bloom of the World War 4 Report, the Yesha Rabbinical Council in Israel has decreed that “according to Jewish law, during a time of battle and war, there is no such term as ‘innocents’ of the enemy.” Bloom cites Yediot Aharonot, the most widely circulated paper in Israel, for this quote, although a local search of Yediot Aharonot produces no results.

Bloom indicates the Yesha Rabbinical Council consists of settlers. Additionally, the rabbis purportedly declared, “All of the discussions on Christian morality are weakening the spirit of the army and the nation and are costing us in the blood of our soldiers and civilians.” Of course, as Israel is a Jewish state, Christian discussion is not an issue, so the Yesha Rabbinical Council must be making reference to world opinion strongly condemning Israel’s crime against humanity in Qana, Lebanon.

On July 12, according to Arutz Sheva, the Yesha Rabbis “called on the IDF to ignore Christian morals in the fight to end the terror from the north,” in other words bomb the dickens out of civilians in Lebanon. In addition, according to the Muslim World League in Saudi Arabia, the Yesha Rabbinical Council demanded the IOF “exterminate the enemy in the north and the south,” as reported by the Jabotinskyy and neocon infested Jerusalem Post. “In a statement, Secretary-General Abdullah Al-Turki said that the MWL condemns killing civilians and carrying out terror acts against innocent people in Lebanon and Gaza. The Council’s call serves to encourage acts of terror against unarmed civilians, he said,” the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia declared in a press release on July 18.

On May 20, 2004, Haaretz ran an article about an Israeli demo against the slaughter of 23 Palestinians when the IOF fired a missile at a crowd of protesting Rafah residents. In the news article, a Yesha rabbi, Dov Lior, is quoted as saying “that the Israel Defense Forces are allowed to hurt so called innocent civilians during warfare.” Lior apparently made similar remarks when the IOF invaded the Jenin refugee camp. According to Derrick Pounder of Amnesty International and others, the Israelis conducted a massacre at the camp, presumably sanctioned by at least some rabbis.
