Jordan says it opposes any military attack against Iran and would
not allow its land to be used to launch attacks against the country.
During an interview with daily newspaper Alarab Alyawm, on Wednesday
Jordan's King Abdullah said the whole region will "be placed
at risk" in case of war. He urged to solve the dispute over
Iran's nuclear development plans through "dialogue and diplomatic
methods."
"We believe that the Middle East should be free of nuclear
weapons that threaten the security and stability of its nations,"
he said, adding, "we must work for the use of nuclear energy
in the development sector".
