CIA Director: Bin Laden Is Alive
Desperate intel chief exhumes dead nemesis and boasts
about "liquid bomb" plot that collapsed into
farce

Osama bin Laden is most certainly alive and is worried about his
personal security, according to General Michael Hayden the director
of the CIA.
"He appears to be largely isolated from the
day-to-day operations of the organization he leads," Hayden
said in a speech delivered to the Atlantic Council
in Washington.
"Although there has been press speculation
to the contrary, I can assure you that the hunt for bin Laden
is very much at the top of CIA's priority list," he added.
Hayden also told the audience that US intelligence
had recently prevented an attack "that would have rivaled
the destruction of 9/11."
Though he did not provide any specific details,
a senior intelligence official said Hayden was referring to the
2006 liquid bomb on airliners plot that was foiled in London.
However, as we recently
reported, the much vaunted plot that provoked paranoid
airport security measures, an overnight change in baggage procedures,
and at one point led to mothers having to drink their own breast
milk, completely collapsed in court after the alleged ringleader
was completely acquitted and none of the other suspects were charged
with conspiracy to blow up an airliner.
Hayden's assertions smack of desperation, once again
citing a mythical terror plot from two and a half years ago that
has been thoroughly debunked. It is widely believed he will
be sacked as CIA director by incoming president Barack
Obama.

Meanwhile, expectations that Bin Laden will make
an appearance to address the new president have made
headlines recently.
It is also thought that Obama
will intensify the search for Osama, despite the
fact that all the evidence points to the
former CIA informant being long dead.
